Chris Thomson sits down with Anne Lindsay, world-renowned violin and fiddle player, who just released her fourth studio album, Soloworks. She has played alongside artists like James Taylor, Blue Rodeo and Led Zeppelin. Lindsay has composed for documentaries, stage productions and commercials and she’s taught music all over the world. She’ll be performing at her release concert at Heliconian Hall in Yorkville on Friday, February 6, 2015. Lindsay’s album is available now.

Lindsay is the Instructional Technology and Web Design Specialist for the School of Journalism. She joined the staff in 2004 after receiving her Bachelor of Journalism.
Lindsay also works as a freelance web designer and multimedia consultant for clients, providing advice on advancing their online presence, and in the development of company and personal websites. Some of her freelance clients include J-Source and J-School's Canada. As a freelance video editor, Lindsay has created promotional and music videos and has also worked at Global Television News, teaching digital video editing.
In 2021, Lindsay was the recipient of the University's Linda Grayson Administrative Leadership Award for creating and adapting industry programs and platforms and educational technology so that instructors could deliver 50 courses remote learning in fall 2020.
