INTERVIEW: Black History Month – A time to reflect

February is black history month; the time we highlight the importance of the issues that the black community faces today. With racial tensions growing across North America Michelle Song talked to Olisya Green, president of the Ryerson Caribbean Student Association.

Lindsay is the Instructional Technology and Web Design Specialist for the School of Journalism. She joined the staff in 2004 after receiving her Bachelor of Journalism.

Lindsay also works as a freelance web designer and multimedia consultant for clients, providing advice on advancing their online presence, and in the development of company and personal websites. Some of her freelance clients include J-Source and J-School's Canada. As a freelance video editor, Lindsay has created promotional and music videos and has also worked at Global Television News, teaching digital video editing.

In 2021, Lindsay was the recipient of the University's Linda Grayson Administrative Leadership Award for creating and adapting industry programs and platforms and educational technology so that instructors could deliver 50 courses remote learning in fall 2020.
